I don’t have the dating feature turned on, so I never see that stuff. The dating feature must be pretty pervasive if turned on, because I hear a lot of folks comment about it. I seriously don’t see that side of things at all.

No worries. I’m in South Florida. For the most part this is kind of a virtual support app. There are people from all over. There’s no way to search by location. While you may meet a local on this app, I don’t think it’s common. We support each other from afar. I do local AA meetings for my in person support, and sober social life. If AA is not your cup of tea, there are several other recovery programs that offer a more limited availability of in person meetings. Zoom has become a popular way to do meetings and find support. Good luck

The site has 2 sides to it. Sober support and a dating section too.

Hi there, I found that I got messaged by a lot of men in this site so now I only accept friend requests from women and the random “hey” messages have stopped.
