I feel so alone and I’m worried about graduating treatment in 6 weeks. I found a very intense treatment to maybe move into as the next step but I feel like maybe it’s overkill? Has anyone ever just gone to another treatment after one to keep working on their recovery?

Oh yeah. Gets you completely plugged in and self aware of surroundings 24/7. If you were pretty hard core in your using it’s not a bad idea to keep furthering this new you with others watching your back constantly. Stay in the day and try not to project is my recommendation. Hope you figure things out.

Start planning now. Get a meeting schedule, find meetings close to you, if you need a ride, start setting that up to. If you have to attend 4 meetings a day to start, then that’s what you do. You are simply moving from managed care to self care. When you get to meetings, introduce yourself in the meeting and share. Get phone numbers. Find a female with good sobriety that has what you want and ask her to sponsor you. Don’t date!!!! This is time for you!

I believe it's a good idea to keep furthering your treatment, especially if you'll be graduating and put back in the same environment you left.. have you thought of sober living houses maybe? Like a transitional living environment..

I’ve thought of that but I live on a horse farm and I’m the only one who takes care of the animals so the sober living idea is just me trying to be sober at home.

I sat in a liquor store parking lot for an hour yesterday so I’m definitely trying to take the next steps. I don’t seem to get past this point

More treatment is better! It’s an investment into your future Stephanie :pray:t4::muscle:t4:
