Sitting here alone in the house. My wife and daughter are out of the house and I’m cooking and watching TV and out of the blue I’m seeing every bottle of liquor in the house in my mind. I won’t succumb, but the urge is hitting me very strong right now. Why does this still happen when I’ve been clean and sober for 13 years?

I'm sorry to hear that David I haven't been sober as long, but I completely understand where you are coming from. Stay strong.

At three years and no desire to drink, i still find the tv commercials can trigger. They have it down to a science
