my family feels comfortable enough to vent,talk about me, say how they really feel to my bf. never to me not once! am i wrong for being upset! blindsitted

Two things need to be done...
- You need toconfront your family and set boundaries.
- Your "boi- friend" needs to grow a set and stand up for you by setting boundaries himself with your family..

No. You’re feeling are valid. Truly difficult when we get sober because we start seeing everything in a different light. That includes what we choose to be a part of and what we choose not to be a part of. Have you tried to tell your family how you feel?

Be careful with conversations with your family/loved ones. In early sobriety tensions and emotions run high on both sides. Think your feelings through and then set a clear and direct boundary. From my own experience setting and enforcing boundaries takes more than 1 conversation. I wish you well. Protect your peace and your sobriety.
