It’s a Great Day to be Sober!
Day 68
Accepting life on life's terms will be mastered through the humility I experience when I turn my will and my life over to the care of God, as I understand Him. With my life in God's care, fear, uncertainty, and anger are no longer my response to those portions of life that I would rather not have happen to me.
Yesterday was a challenging day. They can’t all be good days. The difference was in the way I handled it. I realized that I was slipping into a state of self-pity, selfishness and anger. I know that these were all fueled by fear and I took a step back from the situation. I spoke about it with one of my fellows and listened for advice. Then I turned to my HP and gave up my hold on a situation that was beyond my control. I attended a great meeting and felt as if one of the speakers was telling my story. It was a continuation of a spiritual experience and psychic shift that I’ve been experiencing for weeks.
