Trudging the Road to Happy Destiny
As I progress down this road of recovery, I am often reminded that things won’t always go my way. The slogan “Live and Let Live” is something that I must practice in my life. I once was the actor that desired to run the whole show, but now with humility I allow my Higher Power to take the reins. I now embrace the fact that I’m not in control and I am willing to allow my Higher Power to do with my life as it will. I find that I can live in peace regardless of difficult situations that may arise in my life. Along this road of recovery I find that my life is much better and continues to get better than it was just a short time ago.
I am grateful for this opportunity to live my best life in Sobriety! One Day, One Hour, One Minute, One Breath at a time, I will continue to move my feet and choose to be Sober!
