It’s been 7+ months, and feeling great , people keep warning me about pink cloud I may be on that it will end . I have had life changing experiences happen , Bad and good ,and I have not thought about returning to drinking. I have had some down days , but didn’t think about drinking, more lonely, than anything. Is this normal?

See we left our drinking/drugging buddies behind us yea it gets lonely but if you have a higher power your never alone also this is a good time to get to know you the new you in time you will make new friends doing things you never thought you’d do . Enjoy getting to know yourself

I don’t think a “pink cloud” last through 7+ months of sobriety. I choose to avoid anticipating failure in my emotional sobriety. I’m just happier and life is better. It might get tougher one day, but that’s not a guarantee. The “Pink cloud” serves a psychological purpose in early recovery but is characterized by mostly positive attributes except extreme euphoria, preoccupation with just the positives of your sobriety, and a tendency to overlook the hard work of getting and staying sober. I’m a month behind you and not worried about it myself. Your post doesn’t sound like you are delusional of the realities of sobriety either. Best of luck and be well.
