It’s day 8…half way to fighting all the demons. Taking my independence and freedom (suspended license) away is terrifying for me. Pandemic isolation is when I started drinking daily and heavily.
The fight about it all this morning pushed me that much more. Him being gone for three weeks will be the final straw. I can’t do this.
You can do it. We all believe in you. I know it seems like the world is on your shoulders now, but it will be lifted soon. Hang in there
You can do it, im going through alot like you. My Dui and the price I pay for lawyer who rarely communicates, my dreadfully expensive 2 year divorce, and now I'm being reviewed for seperation from army after 18 years. I set up support groups, put my self in therapy. Even with all that it comes down to me. Do I really want to emerge better. I absolutely do. For the longest time I blew off help. Not anymore.
Just for today, focus on everything you have to gain instead of everything you have to give up. It can only get better from here.

One day, you’ll be at the place you always wanted to be.
Hang tough Lori. Drinking never helps anything.
Hey, you got this, don’t quit. Know that there are a bunch of people out there rooting for you.
