I feel your pain Cindy. I have almost become homeless because of all my relapses and failures. It’s nearly taken everything from me. I’m on my 6th day sober and am determined to make this year the year that change finally sticks. I, too have had enough and the important part is to pick yourself up and move forward now no matter what determines to keep trying. Wish you the best.
Dont give up. I had to break down each day. Only 24hrs. Focuse on the present and trust God. Some times I had to take it 6 min at a time. Be still and pray and talk to god. He will give you strength direction and inspiration. You can do it.
I feel you. You're not alone. You only lose when you quit, & as long as you're alive, you can fight. It's 1 of tha hardest fights but......one day it'll be worth it
Cindy drinking and drugging is natural for us. Then of coarse screwing up is just a grest way to beat yourself up and use more. That pattern is just a big pile of ego. Those negative thoughts are just ego running the show. This get to meetings talk to everybody and listen. You do not need all the answers. They will come when they do. Now you can show this recovery is the most important thing in your like. I promise when you stay sober anf try to work the steps as best as you can and be your best friend things will change one day at a time. Do some stuff that you like. Remember you have to feel.then you heal then you will understand. Always keep coming back as you are worth it) Frederick

You have to forgive yourself , and give it to God . Not just say , do it , live it . Tell yourself , you love yourself . Look in that mirror and say I love you , it works believe me , try it what have you got to lose .
Thank you James for your sweet words of encouragement. It’s definitely something I need to practice more of. Have a great weekend!
Redo Step one...and you truly have to believe that you are a real alcoholic and addict..You really have to believe that...then there is step two...do you believe that there is something out there greater than you that will direct your step into a new way of living...then there is step three...make the decision..Either God is everything or He is nothing
How are you doing now Cindy.
So far so good. Thanks for asking Fred. I hope you’re doing well.
Willie there is no doubt in my mind that I am completely powerless over alcohol and drugs. The only way is to allow God to take complete control because when I do it NEVER goes well. NEVER! Thank you for your words of encouragement!
Anytime
Sending prayers. I’m in the same boat and the struggle is real. I’m nearly homeless now. Im powerless over alcohol and I believe in a power greater than myself can restore me to sanity.
I believe in you !!!
Mike I believe in you too! Today has been a really good day! I hope you’re getting better. Don’t give up because I’m not.
