It turned into a beautiful, sunny day and I just wasn’t prepared for that.

i feel this in a weird way too, but sometimes for me when the day was already bad, and felt ugly , it was easier to drink and just go along with with the negativity of the day, when i would wake up and feel the beauty of life and the earth, it almost scared me bc i still wanted to turn myself into a monster with such amazing things waiting for me outside

Exactly. Almost like the Sun is daring you to do what you know you’re capable of…but you just…can’t…quite…get it together.
