It's harder to keep a place if you drink. That's a good part of my motivation. Glad you decided to share. Prayers up. I hope you find the perfect place.

Drinking will only make it 1000x's worse. Keep the faith and knocking on doors. Have you tried local rooms to rent in your area? Or #211 may have resources.
