Its the HOLIDAZE! Im going on 20 years sober...a coworker brought cookies into office he served me two .... they were amazing... 45 minutes later and IM HAFAFTFO (high as Fu|< AND freaking the Fu|< out!). Im proud of my sobriety and most people know Im sober. I advocate THC ... however its not part of my routine in ANY way! I keep to each his own AND I don’t judge. However I feel like I may have been poisoned... I don’t mean to sound dramatic but it really pissed me OFF... FEEDBACK PLEASE:

Hey John! I know right where your at!! At 10 yrs someone brought a tiramisu cake tirshe had made for her sons wedding...she gave me a fat piece. I didn't know terimisu had liquor in the syrup poured on top...I ate it and a few minutes later I felt the warmth climbing up my neck and I asked what was in it!! I was a hot mess the rest of the week it freaked me out so bad!!! I talked to my sponsor and just stayed busy until the urge to drink passed! She knew I was in recovery but she forgot and didn't make the connection when she gave it to me!
From then on, any homemade stuff I ask what's in it!

Wow! Sorry that happened to you John. I agree with Jenn about letting them know that they need to be more mindful of others allergies to THC. I would never expect this at an office party! I suppose it’s a lesson to us all to make sure we ask questions before ingesting treats. Appreciate you sharing this, and I’m glad you are ok

Dude I’m serious. That happens to me I’m getting violent. Our sobriety is not a joke. It is life or death. Seriously I don’t care if snitches get stitches. He either gets stitches or charges pressed. Dude I’m shaking right now from your story. Imma calm down now. lol

No doubt SHAWN O ... i gave the guy the benefit of doubt cuz AGAIN I’m an advocate of thc (its just NOT for me). People close to me DO use it... this guy has given me weed before(for others) I always clearly state “its NOT for me” so I’m responsible for making muddy water here... my point of this post is that its the HOLIDAZE please be careful!!! I DID JACK HIM UP AND SAY IF I HEAR OF ANY SIMILAR SITUATION HAPPENING... he’d be fired instantly! BE SAFE!
