Congratulations!! I remember once I hit 6 months, it was right around me dumping the wreckage of my past in my 5th step. It was after that when I truly began to feel free! I began to sleep soundly at night, and the thoughts in my head finally subsided. Time started to fly by for me, and now I'm 3 weeks away from 2 years!! Keep going!! Nothing in my life gets better if I pick up a drink or drug. Congratulations on 6 months of continuous sobriety!! That's a lifetime for a guy like me!!
