Jenn... It's only as hard as you make it. Yes, life will happen there is no doubt about that and yes 
will be inevitable. It's how you handle and what you do with that is what's going to make you or break you. Either way no matter how you look at it nothing and I mean nothing (people, places and things) is worth drinking over.
The 9th step promises are coming true for you and all of us. It talks about a NEW FREEDOM and a NEW HAPPINESS. Just that itself is coming true. The freedom and happiness you have today is way better than what you had yesterday.
