I've achieved new milestone

Here is my sobriety counter

I remember when I couldn’t string a day sober under my belt, then it was years of a week or two .. then … relapse.

The merry go round had my head spinning.

I am so proud of myself.
The gifts of sobriety are unfolding in front of me, grateful to my higher power for them everyday.

For anyone who is struggling, you can do this. The pain, the worry, the anxiety, the doubt… it’ll dissipate as you keep stacking your days.

Not every day is easy, give yourself grace when it isn’t and count your blessings. Look back on your progress (I made video journals) and celebrate the wins.

It has changed my life for the better in every possible way, and in ways I could never have imagined.

Thank you Loosid for giving me a space to share my journey.

One day at a time.. and suddenly .. it’s 365 days later.
