Woo! Congrats on 3 weeks!
keep it up
Congratulations on 21 days. May I ask what you're doing while trying to stay sober. Are you going to AA meetings?
The worst thing you can do is try to do this on your own. We also have to do more than get sober. There has to be a psychic change within or we are sure to relapse.
AA meeting makers make it.
I cook, read, hang out with sober friends, do yoga, bake, work out, write, etc. Thinking about going to an online Buddhist version of AA soon, though.
Ok
Great activities, for sure. I'm glad you're taking some kind of action.
Here's a great app that will help you find meetings whether Android or Apple.
There have been a lot of alternatives to Alcoholics Anonymous these days.
Program of Alcoholics Anonymous is a program that has worked for many years for lots of people including myself.
Sobriety is a great way of life!
Congratulations Lauren! When you say Buddhist version of AA, are you talking about Refuge Recovery?
Awesome Lauren congratulations! Totally agree with Dave about any kind of meeting...it really keeps me on the right track, along with meditation and prayer(to whatever higher power works for you) keep it up
Nice work, Lauren💪
Good job lady!!!
Yes! Do you have any experience with it?
Nice haircut
Thank you!!
I've been to one of their virtual meetings recently. I thought it was really cool. They did a meditation thing at the beginning that I really enjoyed. I will be attending more in the future. I definitely recommend checking it out. I do a lot of fellowships. I figure the more tools in your "recovery toolbox " the better!
Congratulations
