This last year has been the hardest I lost my husband and moved from California to Florida. Just keep pushing, though, I guess...

Congratulations. 9 years is a major feat! I met a roofer today who recently hit his 9-year mark as well. I've got a year and a half on my DOC so, right behind ya! ;D

Congrats on your 9+ years of continuous sobriety. Sorry this year has been so difficult. I admire those that can remain sober thru such difficult times. You are a great example of how to live life in life’s terms. ODAAT :peace_symbol:❤‍🩹

Moving across the country and away from your support system can be a difficult transition. Once upon a time ago I had a decade of sobriety and moved away from where I got sober. I didn’t get connected with a new recovery support system at that time…and a few years later paid a severe price with a horrible relapse. If you haven’t yet done so, I suggest you get plugged into some meetings and find some sober sisters.

Sorry for your loss and yeah life still happens in sobriety. I’ve realized that in just the 11 months I’ve been sober.
