Yes Sir that is true! I had someone relapse after 10 years show up at my AA meeting. His BAC was over 3.0. Hospital said it’s a miracle he survived. It can happen at anytime to anyone!

I had almost 9 years, and I relapsed in 2011. It cost me 3 years of absolute oblivion. I knew a woman who had over 20 years, and she relapsed. I knew another man who had over 30 years, and he relapsed.
The good news is, if we don't believe the BIG lie that tells us "this time, everything will be okay," we never have to drink again.
