I've always thought it's crazy how the universe works you meet people unexpectedly and come to build great relationships that evolve into inseparable things

It's not crazy. Humans are natural scanners. We scan and see what we want when we want to. The things we find have usually been there all along but we weren't looking for it at the time. It's not supernatural. It's how we have survived.

Absolutely agree. I have met my closest friends in recovery and we are always there for each other no matter what.

I know I could never survive with most of my family because they don’t understand addiction. So I decided to step away from them for awhile. Too much drinking. My old so called friends haven’t heard from them since sober so bye to them too.
