Thank you. It’s a miracle considering what has been going on between health and family but I have never been so positive. I love being clear headed. :heart::heart::heart::heart:

Just lots of pain from failed back surgery and having a hard time still with my daughter. My brothers and other family don’t really appreciate my sobriety because I stay away because of the alcoholism in the family. Haven’t been to a function in 4 years. I still don’t fully trust myself to be perfectly honest. Plus, I can’t respect people who don’t respect how hard I work on staying sober.

I am very proud of you for having and keeping clear boundaries. That is not an easy thing to do.
Family dynamics are very complex. I’m sorry you are going through this. You are doing amazing and you are living your best life, which is all you can do.
