I've really been struggling to stay sober I'm back on day 1 and just feeling hopeless
Hi Amy I would suggest to get to as many meetings as you can. I know 30 days at treatment gave me a jump start on sobriety. The separation from the alcohol and drugs is what it took. If it’s a good 12 step recovery you will pick up life long tools
You will be in my prayers
Don't give up. Keep getting back up and trying again. It's not over until it's over. You're reaching out and you're sharing where you are and that's great. It's going to get better just don't throw in the towel. Keep getting back up!
I am all too familiar with that dreaded feeling. However, the amazing part is you can always always start over. Don’t beat yourself up over it, write down how it makes you feel and simply start over.
The question is not why the Addiction, the question is why the pain?
Hi Amy, you can do this. Lean on the successes you had in the past. Any mistakes or aspects of your recovery that didn't work before is an opportunity to learn from those approaches to make changes to have a better success. Learn, adapt, grow. I believe in you.
Only when you take out the drugs and alcohol do you deal with the real addiction
