I've relapsed again after 9 years, and the problem is. It's like I never stopped. It's a scary feeling.

Hi Ronnie, while relapse isn't a part of my story, making meetings is. Do you have someone you can talk to? I applaud you!!! You exposed the behavior. That takes courage. Remember, one is too many and a thousand is never enough. When we pick up we go back to where we ended. Please don't beat yourself up. You can get clean again 
It keeps rolling.and we over look that part.that why we need aa meetings.to see that.
It always amazes me how quickly we can get back to like we never stopped. The good news is it isn't to late to get back into sobriety.
I did the same in 2017 after 10 years without a drop. I think I drank even harder on my month long relapse. All is not lost! Those 9 years are still worth a lot! 9 years of confidence that you can do it again :adhesive_bandage:
