Job stress. Want to stop drinking, particularly after work. It

It NEVER ends at "just one". Just one really means "first one". Last Friday I somehow lost my cell phone in between my apartment and Lyft going into work as I was still drunk the night before.

Still, I have to keep this job because being homeless makes me want to drink more than having a stressful job. Job can't go away so drinking has to. And, no, I won't be doing any exercise or walking, particularly as every day is over 100 degrees :joy:

I was the same, one after work turned into a dozen and a bunch of shots. Difference is I drive home after that. Get hooked up with a program of some kind. AA works for me, but there are several different ones out there. The stress is something we all have felt. You can find peace and serenity, and you deserve them! Keep reaching out for help, we will always reach back!

That's part of the the problem. People don't realize the pandemic part of COVID is over so all meetings close by are online which means still being cooped up in my apartment.

Do you have the apps “meeting guide” or “in the rooms” both are free and give times and locations near you for meetings. Not sure where you live… but that sounds terrible if everything is still locked down.
