I've been so busy with life that I forgot about my sobriety date here on LOOSID.
Can you believe that?
I still go to 2 AA meetings a week, and I sponsor a newcomer.
In 2011, I was only about four or five months away from 9 years of sobriety when I relapsed. It started out with some hydrocodone pills and then some wine, and eventually, I was back on the vodka. It cost me 3 years of absolute oblivion.
9 yrs is the longest I have ever been sober.
