Really challenging day! Friend OD’d on Fentanyl last night, he died! I did not even know he had drug issues. Really a sad one.. freakin sux! 2 months ago I broke up with my girlfriend of nearly 8 years because she could t stop drinking, I helped her get into rehab and she’d been doing good… then today I find out they put her in hospital on a suicide watch and lastly I tried playing match maker between two friends and that unraveled and blew up in my face (this I should have known better) Anyway that’s my rant… really tuff day. But I am sober and have tools to deal with loss, fear and pain. Thank god for those tools because I haven’t need a drink or drug 1,144 days which is a freaking miracle… thanks for this space 
now go surf and wash it off

Hey man, really tough day, no doubt! Sorry to hear all of this, but I'm glad youre hanging tough. People do people stuff, and there is nothing we can do about it.
When in doubt, paddle out.

Dude!! So glad you’re here. Your doing a great job with your sobriety and im really glad you shared!! Would love to catch some waves sometime in San Diego. It may be a few more years before i get back out there but will keep in touch!! Keep coming back.
