I just changed to night shift….. and boy oh boy I sure underestimated how difficult it is …… Chris, I hope you adjust well. 🫶🏼:+1:t3::wink::bangbang: I’m not sure if I am understanding what you’re saying, but you are switching to day shift is what I think I’m reading…… I will think about you and hope the adjustment goes well :bangbang:

I work a 2-2-3 schedule 36hrs one week 48hrs the next. I'm 6am-6pm. They wanted me to switch to nights for more $$$, I politely declined. Night shift would not help my sobriety efforts right now.

Have a great weekend!

Yep I'm transitioning into days. Just waking up and having a coffee before I get some running around

Then I am pleased to hear that you declined…. I switched to nights (9PM -5AM) to make more money :yen: :confused:as I am going through the ending of a 22 year long relationship. It’s been a lot, but I feel like I really needed to make more money. However, if it was going to put my sobriety in jeopardy I wouldn’t change my shift either.
NO sobriety = NO life, job, family, friends…. Literally no anything else :bangbang:
However, this isn’t the case for me…. I’m just struggling to adjust a bit. I have NEVER EVER worked at night in my life. I underestimated the difficulty of the switch :woman_facepalming:t2:

I have no issues doing shift work. Been doing it for nearly 3 years and it doesn't affect my sobriety because I'm either sleeping or driving to work, working hard or driving home the hour long drive. My job keeps me sober because of how it's physically and mentally demanding

Same here….. I am a baker in a bakery, Lin’s Fresh Market in East St. George, UT. I am also getting divorced and I actually asked to be moved to night shift, because it was good for my head:wink::bangbang:
