Just checking out this app. Here in Central Connecticut. I'm Cali sober at this point.. trying to stay active after multiple career ending surgeries. Big Time skier. Still have one son living at home with me that's special needs but extremely high functioning. He's also an excellent skier. Very much into special Olympic Alpine games and traveling all over the East Coast in the winter time. Summertimes on the river on the boat...

Yeah. My ex gave me custody of my fraternal twins. One has Down syndrome and the other one is"typical" .
He's on a full scholarship at a school in New Haven now. He was a nationally ranked board crosser. His brother is a special needs athlete. Also on a national level with his ability.
All I want to do with the rest of my life is to take my retirement funds and open a breakfast joint someplace near a local Hill. Either in Maine or New Hampshire here on the East Coast are out in Arizona Colorado or Nevada out west. My son is almost done with his bachelors next year. I'm not sticking around for graduate school. He's looking at Texas A&M Law School in DFW. I have family down there and I grew up down there. If I wind up in Arizona I could maintain the cabin I hope to have there for him and his brother
I can't stand it when dealing with a blackout drunk. I'm no Angel and my issues were primarily cocaine related. I'm in a better place now with my sobriety. Staying busy and having a purpose in my life rather than trying to just spin my wheels and pass the time to get to the next ACT of my life...
Just got some really good news actually several bits of good news that I've been waiting on for years. And I'm so ready to leave this area and get on with the last chapter...
