Just detoxed from heroin, no room for residential at the treatment center. Was feeling feeling devastated because I really don’t want to die. I have a bed waiting at a new facility and I have an appointment for outpatient in the meantime this afternoon, I am doing 90 in 90 and have a potential sponsor. I am determined but scared for this ride back to my hometown. Any advice, greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you are lining things up, and taking the right steps. Be brave, you deserve the serenity that being clean will bring. Don’t be afraid to ask for help even if it is as simple as someone to just talk to.
