Hi guys I woke up with another recovery story every single day I open my eyes I thank God for another day on Earth in recovery here's the thing about being recovering at it we can get one to three in 15 20 years from drugs and alcohol but at the end of the day we're still going to be an addict in recovery because of what we did in our past times becoming the Attic but you can make solace that you have made a conscious decision a major choice just for today just for this 24 hour that I am not going to drink or put a substance in my body and we have to live our lives like this every single day we are not a perfect human being we're in perfect people trying to get our lives right correcting our wrongs and accepting life on life terms only in that moment in that time you will understand how powerless you were Against Addiction so yes everyday for the rest of my life I'm going to have to get up deal with life on life terms thank God for another day and praise His holy name that he allows me to have another day in recovery as an addict that's getting her life together playing the tape all the way through to the very end so I don't make a mistake dealing with my emotions the things that Taurus up in the past being able to tell your testimony your story helps you save another human being because just because someone doesn't talk about it doesn't mean they're not going through it and most times people just need you to listen not respond to anything that comes out of their mouth but just listen to them bit bit by bit where does emotional baggage come from holding on to pain that you never let go of and some people like man my life is just as bad you don't see me out here acting like that God didn't make all of us the same all of us are totally different tyrants of people if he intended for all his people to be the same and do the same thing he would have made all of us exactly identical twins but since that wasn't God's purpose he gave us our own individual single idolatry which allows us to be individual humans with different mindsets that eventually incompatibly end up together to help one another make it through this world he never gave all of us the same makeup because if he did that the world will be boring so he gave all of us different items to allow us to be able to make it through this living world that he has created for us between the heavens and the Earth and H!!!! so every single day that I wake up thank you Lord for allowing me to see another day then it's thank you Lord for another day in recovery allow me to step out of myself so that I may be your vessel for you to help someone else every single day you have to put on your thinking cap make a decision okay for the next 24 hours I got this I'm going to pray I'm going to meditate and we are going to make it through this 24 hours that's how you make it to 6 months 9 months 1 year and multiples because you set a valued gold in mind to succeed beyond measure I want you all to know I do this on a daily basis at choose I decide I admit that I'm still powerless and I succeed because only by the steps and the coverage of the grace of God I want you all to know that you can be strong too you can make it you can do this but make sure when you do this on days when things are hard and not so great you have your village you have a list of people that you could call when you're in crisis they will pick up a phone that would allow you to make it that will listen to you that will help you that will pray for you and pray with you but every single day I'm not just an addict and Recovery I'm a recovering addict and I'm making it day by day month by month I am loved I have values I am wanted I have needed and the wonders of this world are incredible because I have a whole new genre of things to explore thanking God first and foremost secondly taking my Village thirdly thinking my children fourthly making my grandchildren for helping grandma and Mama become strong again this is for anybody that needs encouragement and needs to know that God is in the mix can I get an amen I'm here guys if you ever need me just hit me in my inbox and always remember just for today
