Where is your area?

Meetings do it for me but you said none in your area so I'm useless in hindsight. Here to chat about nothing if you wanna message me. Heh

Hi Kara, I grew up in the area if your shirt represents where you are (actually graduated from that high school). There are meetings there but not a lot of options if I remember correctly (it's been a few years since I've been back).

During the winter, unless you enjoy outdoor activities in the snow, boredom is definitely a thing. There is a city not too far that has plenty more options for us sober people

@kara303888 where are you located? Try searching AA meetings near me.

Try some zoom meetings and service work when you get antsy

You can also start a meeting yourself. Be a good way to do a service to your community and others around you that are willing to walk the path that you are

Reading Annie Grace’s books can help you stay sober for even longer!!!. Congrats on 15 months!!! … that’s so awesome! I borrowed Annie Grace’s 2 books from the library for free. The 1st one is called This Naked Mind & the 2nd one is called The Alcohol Experiment … both very enlightening!. She also has a podcast & she also answers reader’s questions on YouTube. You can download her app for free on your phone called This Naked Mind Companion app where you will find a lot of support! Good luck :purple_heart:

The phoenix has online events through their app. Active recovery

My enemy also.

If there is limited recovery in your area start looking for places that will let u start up new meetings

Check out recovery dharma . Com link to sessions, based on Buddhist principles and can download the book for free.

AA meeting guide is a great app. Looks like you're about 45 min from Syracuse. It would probably be worth taking a couple of trips a week to get to some meetings. Support is really important. I know I couldn't have stayed sober without. You can also venture off into other programs if you want, but try to start soon

Hi Kara......

I travel fir work alot, I do NA and there is a few 24hr virtual meetings....... or if AA is your thing I'm sure there's some there as well
