Just got back from getting my treatment plan been sober three weeks I get paid Thursday I really need a place that I can afford but it's so hard being on a fixed income any suggestions because I'm tired of not having a home it triggers my addiction

I am in a halfway house sober living program RN. A lot of them charge weekly rent and have rules and meetings that you must attend. It's not ideal, there are a lot of other newly sober addicts and a lot of personal/ catty girl issues. But it's safe, I do my own thing and stay out of that stuff, have a clean place to stay and a kitchen, shower, etc., as well as accountability and other people who understand your struggles. It's better than being homeless as I was in the streets in chaos! And safer.

I’m sorry. Just hang in there finding a stable place can be really hard, especially early on. Maybe we can brainstorm some options or local resources. it’s awesome that you’re reaching out.

@amanda391758 well if you make it to southern California you can surf on my sofa for a few weeks. It has a good view of the Pacific Ocean.
