Just got prescribed Abilify, anyone else have experience with this medication?

I have seen it work wonders for bipolar, PTSD w/ psychotic features, and schizoeffective Disorder. This is from experience with family and a bipolar ex, as well as a schizophrenic (or schizoeffective depending on the diagnosed). It was like a magic bullet for both. After just two or three days, they became more stable, symptoms (like voices) cleared up, etc. I hate to sound like a shill for the pharmaceutical industry, but Abilfy has only had great results from my perspective.

Keep a journal and log your feelings or how you feel , or changes in mood temperament, etc. It's hard to recall these things when you meet with your prescriber to alter the dose, change meds, etc. You can also see the progression yourself if it is very subtle. Good luck
