Just having a rough time today…
Sorry to hear that. I know those “days”. One thing that has always worked for me is prayer and meditation. I just ask my God for help to redirect my thinking. On the real bad “days” I have to do it often. I put days in quotes because I’ve found its never every minute of the day is rough, just minutes or up to an hour or so is rough, and when its like that it feels like its always been rough and always will be rough, but that’s not true, if I motor through the rough parts with meetings and prayer and reaching out to others I get thru another sober day. I’ll say a prayer for you too, say one for me if you would.
Hang in there Bryan… tomorrow is a new day
Stay strong the day is only 24 hours. Go for a walk. Write a letter. Get out of your head.
Think your time rough I had one of the worst dreams ever using and it's wasn't the drug of choice either it was the dummys of the drug of choice you know like roll up little people ,toe nails clippings from nail shop and stuff like that .lol.
I'm like what's the meaning of this and my higher power says.
That's what you did you use to use people and make them feel small in every way places didn't matter nail shop or where ever long as you cop wit no commitment and the things you use too get high off them were the way you got high I was a massive blunt smoker so I roll people places and things in a blunt and uses until I graduated then I snort them and did everything and then I woke up .
And still have my clean time just crazy garbage dreams as book talks about how a person used and had wet brain he saw pine apple so big and was getting so big he thought they were going to crush him so even me without picking up out of no where comes a dream every now and then but that's what's out there garbage so I'm Glade I'm in here and the 20.00 is still in the fame from treatment graduation and I still have my big TV ECT so I'm grateful
Thanks for reading my post .
Sending you good vibes some other things that have helped me in similar situations: keep a journal and write down your day to day motion; take a how shower or bath; daily gratitude; long walks; cooking yourself an extra elaborate dinner for when in doubt, pick a room and clean it! Productivity is a miracle worker.
Remember you only have 24 hours to concern yourself with. So take a nap. Read a book. Write a letter. Take a bath. Go on a walk. Play music you haven’t heard in awhile. Make something fun for dinner. Order something fun on Amazon for yourself. Clean out your closet and drawers. Color or paint. Buy a plant or some fresh flowers. Write down all your accomplishments. Stay strong
