Just relapsed on alcohol. Got almost.90.days and blew it

Dude why does everyone beat the s*** of theirself when they f*** up? Come on, look at the positive already. You made it 90 days BOOM number 1 good thing you did you thought you couldn't..and 2 is the most important one you have done in along time..you had a conscience and felt bad about taking a stumble. Ask yourself this..90 days ago would you have even cared about what you just said or continue to drink. Say, fu** it I already screwed this up so might as well keep going. NO..you said slam the front door and I'm not going to continue. I do not see this a loss my friend but a victory. You made it 90 days and shoot for 180..you got this but no matter what I say or anyone else says to you.. it doesn't matter unless YOU believe in yourself. So start believing you got this and can keep going forward. You hit a pebble in the road and stumbled. EVERYONE does but it's not about the trip but how you caught yourself. I think your pretty brave for admitting what did even though you never had to tell anyone. It took courage to say that which is why I have a feeling you'll be alright..best to you. Like they say in full house.."the doors always open" peace

That's a way better way at looking at it than I have been. I guess it's cuz I'm in detox kicking like a mf so I'm focused on how bad I'm Feeling

One of the main ways to getting sober IS honesty. if I was more honest I probably wouldn't be here right nowwe

That’s my point and the post above mentioned it as well….You’re doing great being honest with yourself and all of us! If you’re going towards us making connections instead sinking at the bottom of a dark lonely bottle.

Don't focus on anything you have no control over. It will drive you bananas. I've been where you're at countless times and I'm not here to boast. I'm here to shed belief. This pain your feeling is a good thing. Yes I am not going to be nice. It is a scar and reminder for us every time we go back out how more severe and painful it is. We can not just pick up where we left off GOOD and expect anything positive to come from it. You have to admit that you can't handle your s*hit anymore and that's ok. Alot of us can't but take that out of the equation. We're good people with kind hearts who care about other people.. Me taking my time to respond proves that theory. Feel this pain so you don't want to experience it again because if not then you need have that talk with yourself and ask why you enjoy the pain.

Thank you both for taking the time to talk to me, I'm going to view it in a more positive light. You are both right I'm fortunate enough to want to make it back instead of just drinking to stop the shakes. I got love for you guys, thank you

I agree.. The fact that he reached out for a life line and didn't hold it in...Speaks volume and you should be proud of yourself.. youre gonna be fine. do some writing while you're in there.. it can be beneficial, therapeutic, and or a waste of time.. try it out you might be surprised..

Sorry for asking but why are you detoxing after 1 day of using? I’m not familiar with alcohol addiction.

Did you stop working your program? I have seen people relapse time and time again as soon as they stop working their program. It doesn’t matter which program.
Get back up Brother! You can ask God for help. Try something different this time. Just one thing new and stick to it.

When I drink I drink. I'm a jug of cheap vodka alcoholic and I am prone two seizures now. Never had them til when I first started getting clean which was a couple years ago. Now when I binge after a sober time I am prone to them
