Just spent 11 days in the hospital Because of alcohol withdrawal. Finally surrendered again and was accepted to a good inpatient rehab program. Just my luck, then tested positive for covid.. Now I'm on a 10 day quarantine And don't know if they're going to have an open bed in 10 days. spirits are down but I'm trying to stay positive.
But you are sober! Take that as a win. You can not dwell on if a bed will be available. You will know in 10 days. Deal with it then. Until that day, don’t pick up, reach out to someone you trust, get on zoom meetings, read… think of it this way, you will already have a month of sobriety under your belt when you go to rehab…. Another win! Keep your head up man.
Maybe keeping the spirits down is not a bad idea!
