Just the sadness when you know there are some non-sober people in your life you might have to let go of.

That part of it is tough. Somebody told me once that people are either moving forward with you or they’re not. I had to keep moving forward and bettering my life. I don’t regret any of it. I still hold a place for those people. Just at a safe distance
