I’ve been overthinking for about a month straight now. My nightmares are coming back (not as bad as they used to be). Guess I just got a lot on my mind. Probably because of all the changes I’ve made within the past month or so.

Fück being "blessed". That's mental slave talk. You're putting in work to change your life. Those changes result in paychecks not blessings. Blessings are things given but not earned. Can't stand the use of that word around here.
You are all putting in a lot of hard work to change your lives. You deserve the credit. Take it.
When I overthink, I have nightmares too. I can dig it. I just have to get rid of thoughts that are negative as soon as they come up. Throw them away like garbage and get busy doing something else. Alot if times I put a movie on that I like and have seen 1000 times to get to sleep at night.

Woah, calm down there. I wasn't posturing myself as a "tough guy". Sorry that triggered you. You missed the point of what I said, in favor of trying to dominate me via the internet with some heavy manners.
Also, what I said was not beliefs. It's a fact. We are the ones putting in hard work to stay sober etc. It can't happen without us.
Take that however you want, or maybe it's you that needs to "move the fück on", whatever that means.

Some night I overthink then end up screaming in my sleep. Last night I was screaming to get the F out of my house. They are far and few in between but better than drinking. I can live with them.

At the risk if junking up this person's post, I did not "run" and no "dig" was intended. I stated what I meant and left it at that. That's it. Nothing else. I'm not trying to insult your pee pee so relax.
My point is that if you bust your a$$ at your job everyday, do you consider your paycheck a blessing, something extra that you don't really deserve, that your employer gives to you out of the goodness of their heart?
I consider it a paycheck earned.

Samantha - when I get caught up in overthinking, I try to imagine how small earth is in comparison to the universe. Look at NASA images of supernovas and black holes, and that completely changes my perspective on my problems. It’s so amazing, so why am I so caught up in my over-thinking and worrying?!

Everyone is allowed to in believe whatever they want. What ever helps you out in this word. This sh*t isn’t easy. And if that helps someone then who are we to say that isn’t true or right. But I agree, we are putting in the work/hours. To give credit to someone/something other than yourself is almost selling yourself short. I stopped using. I stopped hanging with the wrong people. I stopped this or that. But I did that. No one else. But I can also give credit to the things/ people that helped ME along the way. I’m in between believing and not. All love regardless.

Time takes time, and experience is what you get when you’re waiting for something else. It usually works out. If you have a job you can ask yourself about relationships and enjoying life along the way.
