Just when I thought i hit a milestone and things were getting better. 6 months clean here comes my brain taking over giving me panic and anxiety attacks. You do your best to do everything right but when you go to bed and try to get peace. That terrible brain acts up.

Let’s just see mind and brain two different things let the mind say what ever it says just watch it just remind yourself it’s only a mind trick and the wave should pass no longer than 10 to 15 minutes just find something better to think about or watch something like a short 10 minutes required thing that you like.

Yup I get it/we aren’t the only ones
After talking with friends from the group I feel better knowing it’s just another thing that we have to deal with getting sober
we are doing the right thing

Racing thought used to torture me until I realized I needed to go on so e kinda M.A.T treatment. Things got a lot better ( not giving medical advice just sharing my experience)
