July 2, 2024, was the day I decided to change my life. I was tired of the person I was becoming and knew I couldn’t keep going down the same road. Getting sober hasn’t been easy. I’ve had hard days, cravings, regrets, and moments when I wanted to give up. But I kept choosing to stay sober, one day at a time. Sobriety has taught me to face my feelings, accept my mistakes, and appreciate life in a way I never did before. I’m not perfect, but I’m proud of my progress. Today, I’m still sober, still healing, and grateful for another day.l
