I was told if I keep doing the same thing, I will get the same result. A batter that isn't making contact with the ball has to look at himself (or herself in NCAA Softball) and make adjustments. That's a recovery program that works.

This battery works with someone to help work on a swing. They work hours upon hours getting to a place of success. And when something fails they revisit the swing again. This is similar to sponsorship.

The batter can't win a game on his/her own. It's impossible to play all the positions at the same time. Unless an Out of the Park Homerun is hit, he needs a team to help him win a game. That's similar to a meeting.

A person in sports is giving himself up for the team. He does it for something greater than him. A school, city, etc. That's the Power Greater than him.

He helps others on the team, working with others.

When retired may be a coach to share best practices, giving it away.

Does charity work on his spare time, being of service.

I said all of this to say it works, if I work it as people before me have done. This hitter could will himself to be a better hitter, it might have worked for a bit. Long lasting success has a formula thst works, and it isn't done alone.

I hope so but so far nothing been going on so far

Brett , Neil gas made a very good point that is absolutely :100: % True. I was never able to get clean on my own. It wasn't until I surrendered out of desperation and finally turned my will over to my higher power.I choose to call my higher power God. Your higher power can be anything that works for you.Alot of people in the beginning use the rooms of a/a or n/a to be their higher power. With help from others who know exactly what we are going through because they were once there to.Then I needed a sponsor to help me do the twelve steps to recovery. When I finally stopped fighting my battle on my own and asked for jelp, that's when I started to see results. I was so amazed with the change in myself I dove in even deeper and I haven't looked back. I hope you find what it is you are looking for and all I can do is recommend the program and help from a sober community of people is my best advice as well. I f you really believe and want it bad enough that is how you will succeed. Hang in there bud and I'm here if you ever want to chat.Dont give up.
