Today is day 1. I had 5 days and ran out of suboxone and took some kratom for the 2 days until the pharmacy got my prescription back in stock. 7 days off 7oh. Been hitting virtual meetings every night because i travel for work. Looking for some sober friends to check in with regularly

Day one is still fresh for me. I am day 8. That first day was like waiting on the scariest Rollercoaster cart, not knowing when the big fall was going to happen. For me, it doesn't get much scarier, but possibly more exhilarating than that. Every day after is much more manageable. I am sending so many positive vibes!
