Hi Loosid. Doing this one more time. The last time I broke the rules and added a gofundme link which I wasn't aware was a no no
So here I am again updating those of you and anyone else interested in Kristina126428's status.
Kristina in short received some pretty bad news last Wednesday. After her infection and the surgery to fix it, they did a bone marrow biopsy. The results confirmed that she is a Stage 2 Multiple Myeloma cancer victim. This brand of cancer only has 3 stages. In order to have a 60% chance of surviving past 5 years the chemical cocktails that she needs runs to just a shade under 7000 dollars a month. Kristina is looking for any type of prescription assistance available. Coupons, State sponsored prescription assistance, anything. If any folks here have any good advice from past experience it would surely be welcome. I have also started a fund drive called Kristina Ward vs Multiple Myeloma over at go fund me if you would care to contribute. Please either message me with info or Kristina directly. Thank you - Mark

She needs to speak with a social worker (at the hospital) to help her get set up with treatment options if she’s uninsured.
Thanks Tonya. She has fairly good hospitalization if I understand her correctly. But almost non existent prescription.

Her oncology team through their SW should be able to help (hopefully). The oncology SW will also know about any prescription programs. If she lets her medical team know her situation, they’ll do their best to get her an affordable treatment plan.
Thank you. Will figure this out eventually.
