Last week spent a few days in hospital for covid pneumonia. Last Saturday I knew something else was wrong. Went to ER, got transferred by ambulance to bigger hospital. Come to find out my heart was covered in fluid. Had emergency surgery where a catheter was placed in heart and they opened up rib cage to help with pressure. 37 years old and all related to covid. If I didn't want sobriety, this covid would have had its way with me and I'd be 6ft under. Get vaccinated, protect yourself. I'm vaccinated and boostered. If I wasn't, I'd be gone. And not from alcohol but from covid.
