This picture was taken the day after Thanksgiving last year. As I approach seven days from my one year, no booze date these pictures are reminders of how lost I really was. I don’t consider myself a true addict because I don’t crave it. I haven’t relapsed. I understood that everybody’s definition of needing a change is different you don’t need a rock-bottom. I just needed to understand that drinking didn’t serve me the things I lost from drinking and gained from it where so different than I expected. I lost all of my friends I changed my entire life just by saying I choose not to drink. I am in a better place
