Looking at prior relapses, is there anything you could have done differently that could have helped you keep it to a one day lapse instead of a long-term relapse?
Maybe share some ideas that can help people who are early in recovery who may have a slip. Help them to stay on track & prevent a long, destructive, and potentially fatal relapse..
Having someone to talk to who will help instead of shaming you is key, I think. Shame and self-loathing will send us into a tailspin.
