Learning how to surrender all in our recovery that was a time in our lives we had for major trust issues and we didn’t know how to comprehend the word, honesty or commitment. We didn’t know how to show Grace. We didn’t show anybody a soft side of us because we were afraid that they were gonna take advantage of that person or that feeling in your heart so we hard in our hearts and we made ourselves our own gods in our eyes we never followed our higher power and when we did, it was the X for foxhole prayers which we all have done. It don’t get me wrong, but in the end we found recovery and in recovery we learned how to become humble we learned how to know what Grace was humility. We learned how to be compassionate to show one’s heart once again and learn that those hurts don’t hurt as bad. We learned to surrender every little problem we had to our higher power, which means a god of our own understanding I’ve seen people worship some crazy things in my time, but for me, I’m gonna stick with God because with him I know everything will be all right in the end and in the beginning because he is the beginning and the end, I have learned that if I surrender my feelings, if I surrender my finances if I surrender my heart if I surrendered my home if I surrendered my peace if I surrendered my love that it would be taken care of in the most high I’ve learned that if I have a small problem, I’ve learned to surrender those small problems. That way I don’t have to think about the big problem. I’ve learned that God himself will guide me and love me wholeheartedly without me having to surrender everything but all things I am here today to let anybody know that I’m in recovery if you ever work the step four that cleans your closet and I mean don’t just go in and type something that somebody wants to hear or say something that somebody wants to hear I mean clean your closet so therefore if anybody brings anything back up on you you can honestly say yes that was me then, but that is not who I am today you wrote my past story God writes my future story you tried to hang onto my pass to destroy me. God corrected me right in front of your face. You told me that I couldn’t make it. God put a gold crown on my head and say it just my child you Can. you doubted everything about me, but God shows you who I am in his eyes every single day I’ve learned to surrender family. I’ve learned to surrender children. I’ve learned to surrender peace. I’ve learned to surrender walking around outside and looking at the fall colors or being able to just breathe a side relief that if I surrender everything, my God will take care of it. I don’t know about everybody else’s story and I don’t know how everybody else’s story began or ended or if you’re still struggling today, but if you are struggling today, I challenge you to look for a higher power, surrender it all because once we surrender every little thing about us, there is nothing nobody can hurt you with and there’s nothing that someone can look back on you and say girl you remember when yes, I do, but I also remembered this day too, and you can smile and be happy because this is the day that God has made. Let us rejoice and always be happy in it for we know that the king of Kings has more power over our lives than we give him credit for and if we choose to follow him baby the magic the fulfillment that comes with it is so amazing if anybody out there is struggling please get treatment. There are rooms that will help you save your life. They are actually people who care about you and who wants you to be here and wants you to do the best you can to stay here with them because each and every day, if you stay out there. you break a heart and you are not alone. I’m starting out it’s number one in your army.
