I've biked up Saddleback mountain too. That's another SO Cal mountain. I've never hiked in No Cal...I'm sure it's prettier and cooler.

Epic and unforgettable! I was in a group and this woman and I were talking and missed a turn. We ended up spending the night on the mountain and were found the next day by a search party. It was very embarrassing and everyone was sworn to secrecy since i didn't want my parents to find out and worry every time i went hiking. No alcohol was involved either. It was All due to inattentiveness.
