My post are real, but if not a female won't get alot of replies. Someone said this is safe place. When 90 percent reply are men replyonly to ladies, is it really? Don't get mad. Some guys on here who need help get notta. Like I said earlier. Alcoholic, addict, shouldn't matter what you look like. Don't believe me click on certain post. Let's all help each other.

I've got thick skin, can take negative remarks. Everyone needs help on this app. Stop choosing by pics. Anywho, grateful to be sober from the issues that bring me down.

I was disappointed when I saw it was also a dating app. I’m not here to be 13th stepped. lol but I’m here to support anyone desiring sobriety. I don’t have much clean time at the moment. Maybe a month. But I grew up in 12 step programs. Since before I was born even. We do recover! And I hope you find the support you need.

The dating part to me is a genius move. It gets folk to join a place that many in recovery are seeking because most have ruined their relationships with others because of their using. Yet, when people come here seeking new beginnings they find it’s basically just a recovery site. The dating part is just a hook to get those needing real help to join. Once here, it’s all about staying clean a day at a time. Sure there are creeps and trolls like anywhere on the net, yet, we do have positive feedback to help each other daily. This site has become an important part of my recovery because I do my best to help others be they male or female. We’re all in this together. It’s a hard road to walk staying sober. I constantly stress others to hit meetings. This place is an excellent “fill in” between my meetings. Don’t let the bad interfere with the good. And lots of good is here 24/7.

I’ve posted things and got no replies and I didn’t even think twice about it. I get help here, I get it from my sober circle or network, I get it when I go to meetings (which I do pretty much daily) and when I call my sponsor or sponsees. It’s just one of many tools I use now. I hear you though, but it’s not always a bad thing too, people are just trying to connect. Alcoholism is a lonely business and when you get sober you gravitate to people that understand you and it takes time to work on defects of character. What you post might help someone and they might not let you know, but the point is you tried to help and maybe it will help. I respect your post though.

Which ever way you are, doesn't matter at all. I'm confused. Maybe way you worded. Gay, straight ect, substance abuse effects all the same.
