Letting Go, Letting God — Daily Recovery Reflection Today I’m reminded

Letting Go, Letting God — Daily Recovery Reflection

Today I’m reminded that recovery isn’t about controlling every outcome, thought, or feeling. It’s about surrender. Letting go doesn’t mean I don’t care—it means I trust God enough to release what was never mine to carry in the first place.

When I hold on too tightly to fear, resentment, or the need to fix everything, I rob myself of peace. Letting go opens my hands and my heart so God can do the work I cannot. I don’t have to have all the answers today. I just have to be willing.

Letting God means choosing faith over fear, progress over perfection, and humility over ego. It means taking the next right step and trusting the rest will unfold in time. When I pause, pray, and ask for guidance, I’m reminded that I’m not alone in this journey.

Just for today, I will release what I can’t control, stay present, and trust that God’s plan is greater than my understanding. I’ll do my part—and let God of my own understanding do the rest.
