Ephesians 6:20

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,

The statement after 6:20 makes absolutely no sense.

Eating and urinating and pooping. Biological functions of being human.

Taylor, I’d love to study more to help you understand, unless you are just here to troll. Which seems to be the case since you are commenting and trying to find fault with every post I make.

6:21 makes perfect sense!

Focus on YOUR recovery. I’ll focus on my ministry. My tribe will find me. I’d you’re not part of that tribe, feel feee to move on.

Having what you say questioned does not make a troll. If you are so sensitive about explaining your beliefs maybe you shouldn't post them in public.

The words you posted right after 6:20 make no sense. The "now to him" part. Seems incomplete.

I don't need to study the Bible with you. You assume because I am a non-believer that I have not studied the Bible. Quite the opposite. I have studied the Bible, and that is why I don't believe.

However, nine of this is my point. My point is that you seem to be more interested in culling from a pool of sick and suffering for religion only. You are telling people that the only way they can get sober is through god. I am disagreeing with you, and more than just disagreement, I'm pushing back hard. People are sick, telling them the only way to get sober is through "god" is cruel. And really all it is, is recruitment. Like the Prots in Ireland trying to convert starving Catholics, withholding food until they converted. Maybe that's a bit dramatic, but you're definitely adding a bunch of nonsense to an already difficult step.

People you don't need god to recover. You need the fellowship of other addicts and drunks. If you're struggling with the god stuff, please ignore it for now. Just get connected with some others that are sober/clean, and be well.

Again, your opinion. I don’t agree with it. You don’t agree with mine.

Move on!

I will forever proclaim myself hat God is the center of recovery. You can disagree, that’s your choice. You don’t have to believe in it, but it doesn’t make it any less True.

One doesn’t have to believe in gravity. But that doesn’t mean one is going to suddenly float above the earth simply because he/she doesn’t believe in gravity. Universal truths exist and their truth isn’t dependent on our belief in them. They are just truths.

God is real. He’s the center of my ministry.

Faith is NOT knowledge.

But again, all I am saying (and I am ONLY saying this for the benefit of others who are sick, not you Brandi) is that you absolutely do not need god to get/stay clean/sober. This is a fact.

Anyone telling you otherwise is simply trying to sell you something.

I'm done arguing with you, Brandi. It makes me sound as crazy as you.

I’m not selling anything  I’m a hope dealer!

Again, you are entitled to your opinion. I disagree with it.

Please move on. Focus on your recovery. I’ll focus on my ministry. Thank you I’m advance! #steptwelve

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
